Laura Gonzalez, PetroMar’s Director of Marketing of Latin America is August’s Employee Spotlight. She is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, holds a degree in International Relations and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Laura has been in the maritime business sector since 2013. At PetroMar, Laura manages customer relationships, facilitates new business in the shipping field, and handles vessel operations. Previously, she was the Oil Operations Team Leader at Trafigura, handling commercial oil operations in Central America and Mexico, supporting the trading department, and focusing on cost savings and optimization. She is an integral part of our global team and we are lucky to have her on board.
